Treatwell’s mission is to provide the highest quality possible cannabis medicine for both people and pets. We are committed to health and wellness in every step of our tincture process. We start with organically and sun-grown cannabis and use only the top shelf untrimmed flowers from our plants in our organic ethanol extraction process.
Our proprietary method captures the full plant benefits (including the desirable terpenes) without the unwanted plant matter that other extractions push through such as waxes, fats and chlorophyll. We then mix our cannabis extraction with MCT oil (medium chain triglyceride oil) instead of using harsh alcohol or glycerin. MCT oil is fractionated coconut oil which is healthy, easy to digest and blends evenly for consistent and accurate dosing.
What is a Tincture?
A tincture is a liquid form of cannabis extraction that can be taken sublingually (under the tongue) or put into any food or beverage. Tinctures are an excellent form of delivery because they are easy to use, versatile and fast acting.
TreatWell Tincture Lines:
CBD Rich Tinctures
TreatWell’s CBD rich tinctures come in three CBD:THC ratio options. Each ratio is made from a specific cannabis plant bred back for specific properties and targeting certain types of conditions.
The 20:1 is non-psychoactive and targets neurological issues (such as anxiety, migraines, epilepsy), minor muscle soreness (such as menstrual cramps) and mild inflammatory issues.
The 3:1 has little to no psychoactivity to it and targets auto-immune conditions (such as Crohn’s, IBS, colitis, lupus) and promotes overall wellness and balance to your body.
The 1:1 can be mildly psychoactive in larger quantities but may offer more pain relief than the other ratios. This ratio targets pain, fibromyalgia, insomnia, appetite stimulation, autism, Alzheimer’s and cancer.
The acid compound tinctures are made from the raw cannabinoids prior to decarboxylation (no heat has been applied). They are non-psychoactive and offer very powerful medicinal effects, which are very different than after heat has been applied.
TreatWell’s THCA tinctures are non-psychoactive and have a very high terpene content. THCA is a non-psychoactive, acid-based compound found in raw cannabis. It is the precursor to THC, however, it has shown to have very different properties. It has proven to be a powerful anti-inflammatory, analgesic (pain reliever), neuroprotectant and antispasmodic. It seems to be targeting nerve pain and damage very well and is best suited for daytime use because it can be stimulating to some people. It also works as a topical for many skin conditions and pain.
TreatWell’s CBDA tinctures are non-psychoactive and have a very high terpene content. CBDA is a non-psychoactive, acid-based compound found in raw cannabis. It is the precursor to CBD, however, it has shown to have very different properties. It is rare and new with very little research, but so far it has shown to be a very powerful anti-inflammatory and pain reliever, especially for severe pain. It can have an energetic effect so it is best suited for daytime use. In some cases it can have a minor mouth drying effect that should go away as tolerance is gained.
TreatWell’s Wellness Tincture is a non-psychoactive blend of the acids (CBDA & THCA) and neutrals (CBD & THC) with very high antioxidant and terpene content. It can be used as a preventative and promotes overall wellness in addition to targeting many conditions such as pain, inflammation, cancer treatment support and seizures. This tincture can also be used topically for various skin conditions.
Every person responds differently to cannabis and dosing will depend on many factors. So we always suggest starting with very low doses in the evening and then slowly ramping up to find the MED (minimum effective dose). For chronic issues, dosing before each meal and before bed is usually the most effective. A good dosing starting point for mild issues is 2.5mg of cannabinoids (we call this a pediatric dose). This is ~1/4 a dropper. The patient can slowly increase the amount until they see improvement.
